A major benefit of being an Illinois Student Org is access to campus facilities and space for meetings and events. To secure a space for your next event, submit an Event Registration via the OneIllinois system.

Pre-Submission Requirements

Below are critical items to review and understand for a successful Event Registration submission:

  • Your student organization must be Registered for the current cycle. If your org is not registered, click here to learn how to register.
  • Your student organization President and Treasurer must have completed their required respective Checklists and earned their Badges.
  • The member submitting the Event Registration must have completed the Event Registration Checklist and earned the respective Badge.
  • Only the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Director, and Event Coordinator, who have completed the Event Registration Checklist and earned the respective Badge, may submit an Event Registration.
  • Your student organization must have a complete student org officer roster of the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer & Membership Director.

New Event Coordinator Officer Position

**NEW** We have created a new optional sixth officer of Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator position is not required, but it allows a student organization to assign the responsibility of submitting Event Registrations on their behalf.

Successful Submission Requirements

  • All Event Registrations requesting on-campus space must be submitted at least fourteen (14) days before the event date. The event date is not considered one of the fourteen (14) days. Unless noted below, this applies to all Event Registration submissions.
  • All Campus Recreation Facility Event Registration submissions must be submitted at least two weeks (14 days) before the event date.
  • All Performance Space Production Event Registration submissions must be submitted at least five weeks before the event date.
  • All Performance Space Simple Event Registration submissions must be submitted at least three weeks before the event date.
  • Some facilities may require the additional submission of a Payment Request for charges associated with the reservation. We suggest planning ahead so the student org Treasurer can request an Approved Payment Request, which may be required for your Event Registration submission.

How to Register Your Student Org Event

  1. Access your student org profile on the OneIllinois system.
  2. Click on Events either on the left-hand side navigation or via the green Event tile/button.
  3. Click the green “+ Create Event” button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
  4. Complete the Event Registration form.
